Upload guide: what photo works best

The photo that works best is a side or rear photo on all fours, bent over, with your face turned up toward the camera.

• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Pose and framing: Use a view from the side or behind, on all fours and bent over, with your head pulled back and your face turned up.
• Eyes: Turn your face up with your eyes open, no hair across your face.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth open and uncovered.
• Light and sharpness: Pick a sharp, recent, high-resolution image with even, bright light on your face. Avoid dark rooms, motion blur, screenshots with bars and buttons, pictures of a screen, and filters that change the shape of your face.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Avoid: front-facing portraits only, faces turned away, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
