Upload guide: what photo works best

Pick a close front-facing photo with your face large in the frame, your eyes lifting up to the camera.

• Light and quality: Choose a recent photo in bright, even light, in high resolution, with your face in sharp focus. Skip screenshots with black bars or app buttons, photos of another screen, and heavy filters that reshape your face.
• Framing: Take the photo close in and from slightly above, kneeling at the centre, the way this template frames its first-person view.
• Eyes and gaze: Look down at first, then lift your eyes up to the camera, with no sunglasses and no hair across your eyes.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth uncovered, with nothing in front of your lips.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Do not use: distant full-body shots, back views, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
