Upload guide: what photo works best

Pick a standing rear-view photo with your head turned back over your shoulder toward the camera.

• Light and quality: Choose a recent photo in bright, even light, in high resolution, with your face in sharp focus. Skip screenshots with black bars or app buttons, photos of another screen, and heavy filters that reshape your face.
• Framing: Use a standing rear view, pressed against a wall, both palms flat, back arched, with your head turned back toward the camera.
• Eyes and gaze: Turn your head back toward the camera with your eyes half shut, no hair across your face.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth parted and uncovered.
• Outfit: Wear the outfit you want to see in the result. This template carries over the outfit from your own photo, so choose it deliberately — including a top you like, and also including a jacket or covered shoulders, which will carry over too.
• Do not use: front-facing portraits only, distant full-body shots, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
